The main menu of Comic Studio

Comic Studio just got a lot better.

I just added some graphics and, man, how much a difference it makes
from simple text buttons.

Images are now properly scaled. Portrait and landscape images are
possible, though rotating the iPhone still doesn’t work.

Lots of little glitches were fixed. I’m still looking for more.

Next on my list:

Slightly more graphics
Thought bubbles (instead of just talk bubbles)

Is Comic Studio finished and perfect? No, never!

Is it a functional, smooth, fun experience? Yes, for sure!

There might be some bugs, but I’ve thought long and hard about whether
I should release it before it’s “done”. And I’ve concluded that, no,
I should not deny the people the awesomeness of Comic Studio any
longer than I need to.

So, in the next couple of weeks, Comic Studio will be released. I’ll
keep you posted on the progress. There’s a little bit more graphics
and design that need to go into it (I still don’t have an icon), a
tiny bit of testing, and then an estimated week of approval from the
guys at Apple. As soon as I get the message that it’s on the store, I
will let you know.
